Why has ABC been so accommodating to Chris Brown?
When Chris Brown cussed out producers, smashed a window, ripped off his shirt and stormed out of ABC studios after Robin Roberts dared ask him about his restraining order being lifted, ABC was quick to publicly assure Chris that there would be no consequences for his violent outburst. Even after Chris threw ABC under the bus on 106 and Park by claiming they were trying to exploit him, ABC responded by refusing Chris' offer to pay for the damage he caused and promised they wouldn't cancel his appearance on Dancing with the Stars, despite viewer protests, AND laid down the law banning anyone on DWTS from asking Chris any slick or prying questions that might set him off.
ABC must have a heart of gold, right? Not really. Word on the street ABC is determined to reunite Chris Brown and Rihanna in their first televised meeting since their infamous fight. Ratings gold if they can pull it off.
