A little back story on the Vanity Fair Cover: Back when this issue first hit the stands Vanity Fair came under fire for lightening Beyonce's skin.
Of course Vanity Fair denied the accusations and the official word from Beyonce's camp was, “There are very fair-skinned black people in this world and Beyonce is one of them”.
