A Missouri concert promoter is accusing Nelly of strong arming for a higher fee...
Last August Nelly performed the first ever hip hop concert in Branson, Missouri. Concert promoter Paul Dunn says Nelly agreed to perform for $40,000.00 but after the concert road manager Abby Cole demanded another $35,000.00 in cash.
Paul Dunn claims,
"[Abby Cole] basically kidnaps one of my security guards. I thought I was going to get shot. I thought to be honest with you; I thought I was fixing to get shot."
According to Dunn the situation was diffused only after he handed over a check, which he later canceled. No police report was filed.
Nelly responded through Derrty Entertainment stating,
"We expressly deny the allegations raised by Mr. Dunn and intend to pursue our claims in the appropriate venue."
