The Reason Montana Fishburne May Lose her Plea Deal
Montana Fishburne might lose her plea agreement because she's a stunt queen...
The other day we learned Montana Fishburne was facing 120 days in jail after the prosecutor in her assault trial took back Montana's 'get out of jail free' card [click here if you missed that].
Back in August Montana Fishburne's father actor Laurence Fishburne hired a private investigator to find out who and what Montana was doing. Montana, realizing she was being followed, staged a fake suicide attempt by pretending to drink bleach.
The bleach drinking incident was caught on video and Montana's lawyer, Shawn Chapman Holley, used the footage during Montana's assault trial to broker a plea deal, which included 90 days in a mental health facility in lieu of jail time, only Chapman Holley didn't know the suicide attempt was fake. After discovering the tape was just one of Montanta's stunts, Chapman Holley notified the court insisting, fake or not, Montana still needed mental help... but by then the prosecutor was just pissed off.
