OJ's Co-Defendant is Out of Jail

That night OJ Simpson left a wedding party to go retrieve what he called stolen items and what turned into an armed robbery [click here if you missed that], his pal C.J. went with him and landed in jail with him, too. Well today C.J. is a free man.

From the National Enquirer
OJ SIMPSON'S codefendant CJ STEWART is free after cutting a plea deal with prosecutors. But NOT The Juice.

Clarence "C.J." Stewart, 56, who was granted the right to appeal his case in the OJ Simpson
kidnap and burglary case entered a plea before a Nevada judge, Clark County District Attorney David Roger told media.

Stewart was expected to spend the next nine months under house arrest.

As The ENQUIRER reported previously OJ entered a request to enter an appeal but was denied by the Nevada Supreme Court.

The prosecutor said Simpson, who was sentenced to up to 33 years, was not be given the same plea agreement because he rejected the deal during trial.

"He rolled the dice in Las Vegas and lost," District Attorney Roger said.

CJ told media, "Mr. Simpson invited over 50, 60 people that day to go with him.

"That's when I said to him, 'Oh my god, this man is nuts.'

"He was OUT of control."
