Kanye Sued for 2008 Stomp Out

A photographer is accusing Kanye West of attacking him at a party two years ago.

From The NY Daily News
Michael Vazquez is demanding unspecified damages for the beatdown he says he suffered at the hands of Kanye West and several security guards at Guastavino's on East 59th Street.

In court papers, Vazquez says he was invited to film and photograph at a May 14, 2008 party marking the 25th anniversary of the debut of the Casio G-Shock.

West was reportedly paid $1 million for his appearance at the ornate, vaulted space inside the bridge.

Online video of his performance at the party shows the temperamental hip-hop star singing "Can't Get Me Nothing" while four topless women in astronaut helmets glide around West's throne-like seat.

Vazquez, who lives in Soho, contends he was "assaulted, battered, beat and threatened" by the "My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy" star and up to 10 unidentified security guards.

"The actions by defendants Kanye West's agents, servants and/or employees was committed with malice," the suit says.

A lawyer for Vazquez did not return calls, and a representative for West could not be reached for comment.
