Mario's mom went to court an asked the judge to drop the charges.

At the time many suspected his mother's drug abuse probably had a lot to do with whatever happened that night. They were right. Mario's mom showed up in a Baltimore court yesterday and told the judge she was high and pissed off when she called the cops on Mario and asked that the charges be dropped.
Mario's lawyer said,
"It was clear from the beginning that Mario never touched or struck his mother," he said. "She was under the influence of drugs when she gave her statement to police. To her credit, she corrected her statement in court today."
