Poor Tip. He had the police officer from the jumping situation speak up for him at his hearing, he submitted diluted pee and threw himself on the mercy of the court but none of it was enough to keep him out of jail.
Tip told the judge
“I need the court to give me mercy. Judge, don't send me back to prison.”
"I screwed up. I screwed up big time, and I'm sorry. I'm truly and sincerely sorry. I don't want and I don't need to use drugs anymore. I want them out of my life."
“I want drugs out of my life. If I can get treatment and counseling I need ... I can beat this,”
His lawyers submitted over 100 similar cases where no jail time was issued and even blamed Tip's drank addiction on several root canals and a grueling tour schedule.
