Jay Z threw a fabulous party in New York for Beyonce's 29th birthday, but a few people were conspicuously absent.
Jay commandeered his buddy Richie Akiva's soon to be opened restaurant and filled it with orchids for the birthday bash. Insiders say Jigga presented his wife with a six layer cake and report the happy couple couldn't keep their hands off each other all night. Guests included Alicia Keys, Serena Williams, Kanye West, Sean "Diddy" Combs and Jay's mama and Bey's mama, but no sign of Mathew Knowles, Solange Knowles or Kelly Rowland or Michelle Williams.
