For the first time in it's 75 year history a Heisman trophy is being returned.
So Reggie Bush got in trouble for accepting nearly $300,000 in cash and gifts from a sports marketer while he was playing for the University of Southern California, which is against NCAA rules. Almost everybody does it, but Reggie got caught because after he dropped out in his senior year to make himself eligible for the NFL draft, he didn't do what he promised to do for the dude who gave him the gwaup, then refused to pay him back and dude ratted him out. Anyway, Reggie voluntarily returning his 2005 Heisman trophy is just a face saving measure because he was about to be stripped of it anyway.
