Wesley Snipes does not have to go to jail. At least not yet.
Wesley Snipes was supposed to surrender to authorities on September 2 to start his 3 year prison sentence for tax evasion, but he's been granted an emergency stay until he exhausts his appeals.
Wes just filed a motion asking to speak to his jury regarding whether or not any of them predetermined his guilt before the trial.
A new date for Wesley's surrender will be assigned after the ruling on this and several other motions has been made. In the meantime, Wesley signed on to star in the film Havana Heat. It starts shooting in November.
