According to a source close to the situation, Luckett and Capitol Records (a subsidiary of EMI) have been at logerheads since the release of her ill-fated sophomore LP ‘Lady Love’. The album, which has sold just 120,000 copies to-date, was marred by a series of release date delays, minimal promotion, and confusing single choices.
