News broke that Serena and Common had broke up right around the time Common was promoting his new film 'Just Wright' and whenever he was asked about Serena he'd heap such glowing praise, everyone thought the break-up rumors must be false. Even Serena was confused,
"So I called him and I was like, Why are you saying all this stuff when we're not together?"and she admits their schedules kept them apart and that it was Common who wanted out,
"His schedule is actually worse than mine," she sighs. "He didn't want the responsibility. It's really tough."
