On Friday blogger Sandra Rose wrote a scathing post about Jermaine Dupri's reversal of fortune and about how he's in denial about the status of his relationship with Janet Jackson. Well Jermaine, who's in France, got Sandra on the phone and went off screaming,
"I've got people ready to kill you!" and “I’m letting you know it’s serious in the streets right now!” and Sandra says he told her repeatedly, “I run Atlanta! I got niggas calling me saying they don’t know what you look like, but all I gotta do is point you out and they will FUCK YOU UP!!!!”Now that Sandra and Jermaine's argument has gone viral one of Jermaine's friends reached out to Sandra trying to explain the reason behind Jermaine's outburst.
JD's pal told Sandra,
“Your post hit him where it truly hurts. You hit him in a place where he lays awake at night and can’t sleep because he’s thinking about it.
“How would you feel if the woman you loved blamed you for ruining her career and now she’s dating a billionaire?“
“He can’t let go of her. He was really in love and love makes you do crazy, crazy things!,” he said. “People in the industry have been saying that he single handedly messed her [career] up completely. That has been said by everybody,” he added.
“He’s been to every label. This is the first time that he’s tried to do this [running a label] on his own. I don’t think he has anybody working for him now,” said the friend. “Now he’s holding marketing meetings online with the fans! He told them to buy ten CDs!"
