Earlier this week DC Pride organizers were left scrambling after their headliner, DC rapper Wale, backed out at the last minute. Pride organizers say it's because Wale is a homophobe and released an email from Wale's publicists telling them Wale was canceling because,''All of the facts of the event were not disclosed with the offer and therefore, he [Wale] feels mislead and regretfully declines.'' Wale insists he didn't even know he was booked for DC Pride, but still offered no reason for the cancellation via his Twitter.
