If Monique's brother though going on Oprah and confessing to molesting her and apologizing was going to fix things he's got another think coming.
When Monique's brother reached out to Oprah about appearing on her show, Oprah called Monique first and asked if it was okay. While Monique gave her blessing, she is said to be pissed off at how the interview turned out because she says her brother lied on national TV. Monique's brother told Oprah that he molested Monique in her sleep which Mo says is a lie. She says it happened while she was wide awake and terrified. Monique also feels he wasn't sympathetic enough and is put off by the fact that her brother was never treated for his "sickness" and she still doesn't trust him around kids. So instead of mending fences Monique is telling friends she doesn't think she'll ever speak to her family again.
Oprah has asked Monique to come on the show and tell her side but so far Monique has declined.
