After being cleared by the court to file a wrongful death lawsuit, Joe Jackson instructed his lawyers sue Dr. Conrad Murray for an unspecified amount of punitive damages, economic support, loss of companionship and loss of consortium.
So far, Joe is the only family member named as a plaintiff.
Dr. Murray's attorney is confident Joe won't win any damages and says this suit is like, "throwing a bucket of water on a man drowning in the ocean."
