Dre just filed a lawsuit against Death Row Records claiming he hasn't received royalties from hip hop classic 'The Chronic' in over 14 years! Wondering why he didn't file this suit 13 years ago? Could it be that Death Row Records has new owners and that if he'd filed while Suge Knight was still at the helm he'd have found himself hanging over a balcony by his feet? I vote yes. I remember when He left, I heard Him say he didn't want anything from them. That he agreed to give everything up to be let outta His contract with Suge. Guess Suge getting knocked out left and right nowadays gave him a little courage to go get his money

12:12 yeah right. How does new owners = new money exactly? when the label was bankrupt. If that's really the case, the new owners rescued Suge's arse and bailed Death Row out, and at this point won't be giving sh*t out (due royalties, checks, etc). I agree with snitch in that he should have did this sh*t 13 years ago, or prior to recording and checked his damn contractual agreement with DR to make sure it in some way favored his pockets. But in retrospect, Suge would have had his ass layed out off the coast of Aruba or somewhere under a coral reef had he stepped to Suge (which was why 'Pac saw no other way out but death; oh the irony).
I checked out Dr. Dre's designer headsets, called "Beats by Dr. Dre", at Best Buy. Snoop Dogg, Diddy, and Lady Gaga also have designer headsets in the same lineup (made by Monster), They may sound and good, but they sure aren't cheap. The official website is beatsbydre.com (just thought I'd mention it). I guess designer headsets are among the latest in celebrity revenue streams. Watch Beyonce come out with a pair.
