Yes, Single Ladies was the biggest song of 2009 and it was well deserved, but seeing how most of her album was lacking(in quality) and for her to be nominated so many times, just goes to show that she was nodded in light of her popularity (or overexposure, y'all pick) than the actual quality of her album (and I wouldn't be surprised if Matty Creole stretched his "payola" arm from his Swiss Bank account to help get the nods in favor of his alpha seed). Honestly, if she was to receive that many nominations, it should have been for her first album "Dangerously in Love," which is was her best (and tolerable) album anyway.

Secondly, As happy as I am for Beyonce, I can't really say I'm happy for the awards she's won for. Yes, Single Ladies was the biggest song of 2009 and it was well deserved, but seeing how most of her album was lacking(in quality) and for her to be nominated so many times, just goes to show that she was nodded in light of her popularity (or overexposure, y'all pick) than the actual quality of her album (and I wouldn't be surprised if Matty Creole stretched his "payola" arm from his Swiss Bank account to help get the nods in favor of his alpha seed). Honestly, if she was to receive that many nominations, it should have been for her first album "Dangerously in Love," which is was her best (and tolerable) album anyway.
As Ms. T-Swift, she has received a lot of success. That whole ordeal with GayFish only formally introduced Black people to Taylor Swift, I've been aware of her back since 2006, but never really cared about her, until VMA night. And America is riding the wave mistreatment of "America's Sweetheart" as it appears that Conye took candy from a baby. This too shall pass though, but it won't deter from her success (and teens fascination of her everywhere).
