Shyne
will be home from jail October 6. Former Bad Boy artist Jamal 'Shyne' Barrow has been locked up for 10 years after being convicted of first-degree assault, gun possession, and reckless endangerment after a night club shoot-out on December 27, 1999. On the night of the shooting Shyne, Puffy and Jennifer Lopez where out clubbing in New York when Puff got into a confrontation with another group inside the club. After someone threw money in Puff's face, shots were fired. Shyne was apprehended immediately, but Puff, Jennifer, their bodyguard and driver fled the scene. Puff and 'nem were apprehended a few blocks away where cops found a stolen gun in the car.
Puffy and his bodyguard were later acquitted on gun charges while Jennifer Lopez was not charged with any crime.
