Phony Braxton Released From Jail
Toni Braxton impersonator Trina Johnson-Finn has been released from the Surinamese jail where she has been held for the last 3 months. Trina Finn was booed off stage and pelted with garbage after, according to her, she was scammed along with the audience, into participating in a concert billed as a real Toni Braxton show. The prosecutor argued that, "[Trina] had several opportunities to pull out of the scam, but she did not. She could have decided not to come on stage when Toni Braxton's name was announced, but she came on." The prosecutor has requested a one-year sentence with nine months suspended, so even if she receives the full sentence she will have already have served the three months. Trina says she will be present for her sentencing on Tuesday.
