Phony Braxton Acquitted

Good news Phony Braxton phans. [<--lame. I know.] Your favorite celebrity impersonator, Trina Johnson-Finn, got aquitted on those fraud charges and released from jail. For those of you just joining us, Trina was hired to impersonate Toni Braxton for a show in Suriname. The only thing is, the promoter billed her as the real Toni and charged up to $53 a ticket. After being pelted with trash and booed off stage, Trina was arressted and jailed in Suriname for 3 months. When officials caught up with the promoter, who had been on the run for weeks, he told them Trina was in on the scam, but later retracted his statment. In the end, the judge ruled he couldn't be sure of Trina's involvement so he let her go. The promoter and his accomplice/girlfriend are expected to go on trial in July. "I'm delighted with the judge's decision," Trina told reporters outside the courtroom. "It was hard dealing with the situation knowing I was innocent. But now I just want to go back home and hug my family, my husband. I haven't seen them for so long."
