I said I was done with Chris and Rihanna but what I meant was, I was done regurgitating the same story over and over. This is some new shiz. Namely, Chris Brown's history of violence. In 2007 police were called to a hotel room in Florida because Chris was fighting with his MOTHER. Hotel guests called security after hearing screaming and the sound of breaking dishes. Security came and escorted Chris' mother out of the room and called the police. His mother did not press charges. Instead, Chris paid the hotel bill and he and his mother checked out. Couple that with the number of Rihanna's friends who have stepped forward saying they've seen bruises on Rihanna in the past and therein you have a pattern.
