Ball Until You Fall

According to bankruptcy records, the day Michael Vick went to jail he bought a $99,000.00 Mercedes, cashed four checks totaling $24,900, gave $28,000 to the mother of his oldest child, paid a public relations firm $23,000 and gave a friend $16,000. The filings also show that from the day he pled guilty (Aug. 27, 2007) until the day he reported to jail (Nov. 19, 2007), he spent over 3 million dollars. Now, on the eve of his release, Vick has filed for bankruptcy protection from his creditors, including the Atlanta Falcons who seek a return of his 3.75 million dollar signing bonus.
