Yesterday Lil Wayne's people issued an unsolicited statement talking about Weezy would not be performing at Fashion Rocks along with Beyonce, Rhianna, Chris Brown, Mary J Blige, Mariah Carey and others because of scheduling conflicts. Today word leaked that your boy refused to have his bag searched or have a security wand passed over him and got booted from the show. They say Weezy was all like, 'I don't need your fucking show - I'm leaving if you make me do this.' and Fashion Rock organizers was like, "buh bye". Minutes later, organizers got frantic calls from Weezy's management and record label begging then to have him back. Fashion Rocks was like, 'OK, we have an opening at 7 p.m.' But Wayne's people said, 'Can we do a bit later. He's not going to be ready'. Then Weezy calls back at, like, 9:30 and says, 'I'm five blocks away,' which is like 500 blocks away in New York traffic, so they told him to forget it.
