This one jeweler out of New Orleans was suing Lil Wayne because back in October of '07 Weezy copped a $138,000 diamond ring and a $32,000 gold-and-diamond necklace, but only paid the man $24,000.00 for the ice. See, Weezy and the jeweler had worked out a payment plan, but Weezy didn't stick to it so the dude sued his ass. Anyway, this past Tuesday [Aug 12] they reached an agreement and Weezy is supposed return the $138,000 ring and pay off the rest of balance sometime this week. And speaking of Weezy paying off his balances, they say he got a federal tax lien filed against him for owing $977,840.81 in income tax.
