On day two in the R Kelly child pornography trial, the defense insisted that the alleged mole that appears on the back of the man in the video, and incidentally, the exact same spot where R Kelly has a mole on his own back, isn't a mole at all, but a distortion in the video tape caused by it having been copied so many times...
The defense also produced their own altered video showing how someone could have superimposed R Kelly's face onto the body of the person shown having sex with and urinating on an underage girl. Next the defense put their hired private investigator on the stand who testified that Lisa Van Allen and her boyfriend implied that they would accept $300,000.00 to keep quiet by mentioning that they had been offered a book deal for that amount. Under cross-examination, the PI admitted that neither Lisa nor her boyfriend directly asked for a bribe, but he said their language "was a coded way to get money from his client (Kelly)."
