Russell Simmons lost $15,000.00 worth of bling from the Simmons Jewelry Company in a carefully planned or ridiculously stupid diamond heist...The gems came up missing after an employee of Russell's left a suitcase carrying three diamond rings, a pendant, three sets of earrings and two bracelets unattended in the hallway of a Bleecker Street apartment building for thirty minutes. Police sources confirmed the incident, but a rep for Simmons Jewelry claimed the jewels belonged to the employee.
