As of last Friday, televangelist Juanita Bynum and Bishop Thomas Weeks are no longer man and wife...The couple, who's ministry centered around love and relationships, filed for divorce last September after Bishop Weeks kicked Juanita's butt in an Atlanta area hotel parking lot. Their divorce proceedings were stopped at one point when Juanita admitted the two had sex after their separation. [It's called trying to reconcile people!] Anyway as part of their divorce settlement, Bishop Weeks has been ordered to immediately return several household items -- including artwork and silverware -- to Juanita and and Juanita's agreed to pay $40k of Bishop Weeks' attorney fees. He also gets to keep his 2004 Land Rover. Neither side gets alimony.
The couple married in a $2 million dollar televised ceremony in 2002.
