50 Cent, Timbaland, Mary J Blige, Tyler Perry and Wyclef have been linked as buyers of steroids and human growth hormones in an Albany, New York investigation on steroid trafficking...
According to The Times Union, these artists may have used or received prescribed shipments of steroids and injectable human growth hormone under fake names at their private residences, hotels, production studios, an upscale NY fitness club, and a Long Island chiropractor.
Authorities involved in the investigation, which has exposed athletes from the NFL, NBA, MLB and WWF, claim they have no evidence that the aforementioned artists violated any laws but they are targeting the people who prescribed the drugs which include anti-aging clinics, doctors, and pharmacists.
Medical experts say the artists are being prescribed the drugs under the misconception that they will enhance looks, strength and speed, slow aging, and aid healing.
