In the letter, her attorney wrote that one the reasons Fox should get an early pass is that she hasn't been able to get any maintenance work done on her hearing implant and that it had been damaged when "she was attacked by another inmate in October."
Foxy's lawyer, Laura Delimitin, also called Fox's incarceration unfair and claimed, “If her hearing is damaged any further, it will affect the way she hears and it will affect the way she sings. It will have dire consequences on her ability to maintain her profession and livelihood.”
