He filed another suit against Diddy trying to make him stop mentioning an FBI investigation where James is mentioned in connection with that time Tupac got shot at the studio. In one of the FBI interrogation records, an unidentified informant who had ties to Tupac and Sabatino, told authorities in an interview held six years after Tupac's death that he was inside the Quad Studio when Tupac was shot in 1994. The informant told authorities that Sabatino appeared unconcerned when shots were heard and yelled ‘Get that piece of shit out of here!’ when a bloodied Tupac appeared in the studio. The informant also claimed that Sabatino said that Tupac needed to be ‘dealt with’. James says Diddy is circulating the FBI records ‘as part of smear campaign against him.’
