You know I love reading gossip on message boards right? It may not be true, but it sure is juicy. ......What has never really been mentioned is Beyonce’s little romance with Chico Debarge.. YES… CHICO DEBARGE.. they use to date back when she was with Destiny’s Child. It was all very secretive. The girls would stay at the Beverly Wilshire when they came to Los Angeles – The Wilshire is not far from a small boutique hotel where Chico DeBarge was a regular. Ms. Beyonce would slip over to his hotel for late night visits and leave in the AM. This was an upper crust hotel so not too many of the workers knew who she or he was, a few of them did and one night they heard them having very loud relations. One time Mr. Knowles came to the hotel ENRAGED because he found out Beyonce had been sneaking away at night to spend time with jail bird Chico Debarge. He put an end to that relationship with the QUICKNESS for two reasons....1- He thought Chico was low class and he knew Beyonce was on her way to being a superstar. Beyonce didn’t care because she was in love, but her dad set her straight. 2 – She got pregnant with his child and well… She was deep into it with Chico.. her first real love.
