This week Bad Boy Records first artist Craig Mack died from heart failure [click here if you missed that].
Bad Boy CEO Sean 'Diddy' Combs remembers Craig...
Craig Mack, you were the first artist to release music on Bad Boy and gave us our first hit. You always followed your heart and you had an energy that was out of this world. You believed in me and you believed in Bad Boy. I will never forget what you did for hip-hop. pic.twitter.com/qvnxRTcdXv— Diddy (@Diddy) March 13, 2018
Meanwhile others remember things a little differently.
Craig Mack did Flava in Ya Ear for Puff as a business thing, but Puff was focused on Big. While they’re on Yo! MTV Raps, he lies about Mack’s second album coming out, which never happened because Puff dropped him after his album only went Gold. Peep the look on Mack’s face. pic.twitter.com/HCiph3qfEK— Brian (@_ValTown_) March 13, 2018
