Back in August news leaked that recently divorced gospel singer Israel Houghton had secretly fathered two children outside his marriage by a longtime mistress who was now upset about his quickie engagement to talk show host Adrienne Bailon [click here if you missed that].
Looks like the tea just hit the fan...
According to Bossip the Texas State Attorney General just opened a child support case against Israel Houghton demanding he take financial responsibility for two boys ages 2 and 4 years old.
The singer has already admitted paternity for the 4 year old and a DNA test is being sought for the 2 year old.
Houghton has been ordered to turn over his tax returns, checking and savings account statements, and 401K information so support can be determined.
Israel Houghton and ex-wife Meleasa were married for 20 years and have four children together.
