Potential Prince Heirs Object to Genetic Testing
Two people claiming to be heirs to the late rocker Prince's fortune are reluctant to submit their DNA...
On April 21, 2016 rocker Prince died without leaving a will and since then literally hundreds of people have come forward claiming to be rightful heirs.
While most of the claims seem far fetched one that should be considered a slam dunk is being held up because the claimants don't want to submit their DNA.
Brianna Nelson, daughter of Prince's half-brother Duane Nelson, claims she and her daughter are entitled to a share of the fortune but insists they shouldn't have to submit DNA because she has already offered sufficient proof under the law in Minnesota of their relationship to Prince.
Duane Nelson served as head of security for Prince before they became estranged. He died in 2011.
