Actress Tamala Jones leaving Castle after 8 seasons on the show...
According to reports Castle has been renewed for a 9th season but original cast member Tamala Jones' character, Medical Examiner Dr. Lanie Parish, will not be part of it.
Sources tell Deadline Tamala was let go due to budget cuts.
Castle lead actress Stana Katic was also not asked back.
