Yesterday Gucci Mane, who has been in jail for the past 11 months, was sentenced to three years and three months in prison on gun charges.
Gucci Mane's attorney has requested Gucci be allowed to serve his sentence on the West Coast where he can receive drug treatment and be far away from negative Atlanta influences.
Gucci Mane was arrested in September after one of his friends called the police because Gucci was behaving strangely and becoming increasingly volatile [click here if you missed that].
