Earlier this week R&B singer B. Howard found himself at the center of a firestorm after it was announced that DNA testing would prove once and for all that he is the son of Michael Jackson [click here if you missed that].
B insists he had nothing to do with it...
In a video posted on Facebook B insisted, "I have never self-proclaimed to be Michael Jackson’s son."
In a written statement B further explained,
"This spring, I agreed to be a part of a documentary with FilmOn.TV and was asked to give a sample of my DNA. Even though I agreed to this I never expected it to be used in this manner."
"To this day, I have never claimed to be Michael Jackson’s son nor do I have any intention of pursuing the family’s estate.”Fun Fact: Michael Jackson's former friend actor Corey Feldman was present when B. Howard's DNA was collected. Michael and Corey had a bitter falling out after Corey accused Michael of leaving him stranded in New York in the aftermath of 9/11.
