Last year Patti LaBelle screamed at a mother and her 18-month-old daughter and doused them with water because they were making too much noise in the lobby of Ms. Patti's Manhattan apartment building [click here if you missed that].
Well, being a diva don't come cheap and Ms. Patti has to shell out big bucks for losing her cool...
Patti LaBelle was sued by the little girl's mother claiming Patti caused her daughter to suffer "personality changes, sleep disorders and increased fear of strangers."
Rather than try to defend her actions Patti settled out of court for $100,000 that the mother intends to donate to a children's charity.
