According to officials family friend Jeffery S. Hubbard is under investigation to determine if charges will be filed in the wake of the horrible accident. Alcohol was not a factor.
Sgt. Mike Burgamy with the Georgia Department of Natural Resources tells The Detroit News,
“Basically, a pontoon was pulling two juveniles on an inner tube, and the watercraft ran over the top of them.”Two park rangers witnessed the accident.
Both Kyle and his fifteen year old companion were wearing life jackets.
