On New Year's Eve Nas was supposed to perform at a concert in Angola but never made his flight. The American concert promoters who set up the date were kidnapped as a result and held in Angola against their will for several weeks until the situation was resolved [click here if you missed that].
Now that the promoters are back stateside Nas tells his side of the story...
Nas tells MTV Rap Fix Live,
"He wanted me to come to Africa for New Year's, which to me I thought would be the best way to spend New Year's. You (Allocco) booked the flight, but no return flight. I didn't have a (work) visa. You (Allocco) didn't send money 'til after I was supposed to jump on the plane to another country."
"He was in some crazy danger in Africa so he threw me under the bus."
