Rapper Curren$y is suing Damon Dash for illegally profiting off his music...
Curren$y is seeking more than $1 million in damages from Damon Dash after Dame released music by Curren$y despite the fact they never solidified a deal.
According to Curren$y Dame approached him with a deal in 2010 but they couldn't agree on the terms.
Dame released two Curren$y albums that same year despite not having a deal, and Currenc$y eventually signed with Warner Bros. in 2011.
Didn't stop Dame, though.
Damon continued to release Curren$y's music violating Warner Bros. exclusive rights, insisting he has permission to do so and calls Curren$y a backstabber for signing with Warner.
