The New York Post reported Monday that CBS News vp programming Chris Licht talked to Gayle King about a role on a revamped Early Show, which is a distant third in the morning behind NBC’s Today and ABC’s Good Morning America.
CBS News chairman Jeff Fager and president David Rhodes have been outspoken about their mandate to get Early out of the ratings basement.
