Last year Rihanna made a public plea for bone marrow donors for a little girl named Jasmina who was suffering from Leukemia. A month ago Jasmina succumbed to her illness. Sad. Even sadder how Jasmina's mom lashed out at Rihanna on Twitter. Sadder still that she even had to.

Last night Erykah Babu put out the call to her Twitter followers asking if anybody could put her in touch with Lenny Kravitz. She wanted to talk to Lenny to get in touch with Stella McCartney to get in touch with Paul McCartney to get a sample cleared for a song on her new cd. Remember last March when 50 Cent dug up one of Rick Ross' baby mama's old porno tapes and posted it on his website [click here if you missed that]? Well she's suing his ass. Now don't confuse one baby mama with the other. One of Rick's baby mamas [Tia] is down with 50 and apparently the other one [Brooke] hates his guts. Brooke says Fif used the tape without her permission and caused her 'great emotional distress' and she wants to be compensated for her troubles.

Extreme Fence Co. says Katt owes them $8,900.00 for a fence job, so they've filed a lien to get their dough. Seeing as how Katt's house is in foreclosure and his cars are being repo'd I'm not sure what they're liening against, but good luck with that. And Katt, bless his heart, is sticking with his 'comedy retirement' vow and instead only wants to be booked for rap gigs. Which may explain why he was a no-show for a gig he booked in Dallas on All-Star weekend. Those guys are trying to get their money back too, by the way.

Def Comedy Jam Making a Comeback
Russell Simmons and Sanna Lathan's daddy, Stan Lathan, are teaming up again to bring back Def Comedy Jam. Only this time it'll be on Comedy Central and not HBO and I'm not sure if it'll be called Def Comedy or not, but the host is JB Smooth and DJ Cassidy will spin instead of Kid Capri.

Monday night T.I. made his first public appearance since being released to an Atlanta half-way house to complete his 366 day sentence on gun charges. Tip showed up to support his favorite baby mama Tiny's 'For the Love of our Fathers Foundation' to raise money for Alzheimer's research. Oh, and he gifted Tiny with a Porsche for holding it down while he was gone. Don't worry if you weren't at the gala: It was filmed for the new season of The Tiny and Toya show.

5 Years for Jayson Williams
Former NBA star Jayson Williams has been sentenced to 5 years in prison for the 2002 accidental shooting death of his limo driver Costas Christofi. Jayson will be eligible for parole in 18 months. During the sentencing, Christofi's sisters asked for the maximum sentence without parole and said Jayson never apologized to their family for killing Chris.

Jay Z and New York Governor James Paterson are getting the side-eye because of who was chosen to run a multi-million dollar southeast Queens racetrack and casino. It's no secret that Governor Paterson is in love with Jay Z. He's been very vocal about his feelings, he even took time out of his busy schedule to send off an email to MTV agreeing with them for making Jay the hottest MC in the game last year. Love affair non-withstanding, Jay had been in talks with Las Vegas casino mogul Steve Wynn to partner with him in bidding for control of the Queens race track and casino. Nothing fishy about that. However, when Wynn backed out because the process was taking too long, and Jay partnered up with Aqueduct Entertainment Group, who many thought had the least chance in winning the bid, but lo and behold came out the winner, things started to look shady. Because of that Gov Paterson, Aqueduct and Jay are now all under federal investigation.
