I doubt Usher has anything going on with his mother, other than personal, business, and career conflicts. She is aware of the pitfalls out there and how easy he can become prey to them. Even though he is very much a grown man he got into the business as a child. She knows his strengths and weaknesses, and women are not his strong suit. It's not hard to see why they have their differences.
